What are the different types of markets? Strategies for consumer markets are completely different from that of industrial markets. There are consumer markets , Business markets , Global markets and Government or non profit markets in the various types of markets. Perfect competition describes a market structure, where a large number of small firms compete against each other with homogenous products.
