How to get rid of oil stains on clothes

Rub undiluted dish washing liquid into the stains. Allow that to sit for at least minutes. Take the affected clothes to the dry cleaners. The dry cleaning process uses a heated solvent to clean the clothes instead of water and detergent.


I have successfully used a paste made of Dawn dishsoap and baking soda.

I let it sit for a few hours and laundered as usual. It worked on an oil stain that had been set for months. How can we remove oil stains from clothes? How to remove oily stains from fabrics? What is the best stain remover for clothes?


Then, apply dish soap to the stains and let it sit for minutes, which will help loosen the remaining oil so it comes out in the wash. Once you’ve rinsed the garment with hot water, apply dish soap and rub in with a toothbrush. Rinse again in hot water.

Liquid dish detergent is your friend. Place the stained article of clothing on a flat surface and apply several drops of natural dish soap to the stained areas. Using a wet toothbrush, massage the soap into the stain.


Cover the area with baking soda and brush the soda into the entire area with a toothbrush. Sprinkle cornstarch all over the area and allow it to sit overnight. In the morning, the cornstarch will have absorbed the grease from out of the garment and should be ready for you to brush it away. Use a grease-cutting dish soap such as Dawn and a clean cloth to gently scrub the area clean of any residual stain and launder the clothing as usual.


If it has set, pour enough dish soap onto the stain to cover it well. Leave the baking soda or dish soap on the clothing for about 5-minutes. Rub aloe vera gel on the oil or grease marks. Pour a little quantity of coke on the stains. This will remove the stains.


Leave it for 1-2hours so that it gets soaked. Wash the cloth with warm water. Cooking and vegetable oils and their greasy residues can pose a pretty big hazard to your clothing.
