There are a total of three natural sources of water. They are categorized as: rain water , underground water and surface water. Here is a look at each and what supplies these sources. Rain water includes other sources such as snow and additional types of precipitation. It is present in air in the form of water vapour.

About per cent of the human body is water. The bodies of all plants and animals contain water.

Dams, wells, tube wells , hand-pumps , canals, etc, are man-made sources of water. It gives pictures and videos of oceans, lakes, streams, and ponds. Water resources are natural resources of water that are potentially useful.

Uses of water include agricultural, industrial, househol recreational and environmental activities. All living things require water to grow and reproduce. Water is our lifeline, we cannot live without water.

When people receive their water by way of pipes or wells, they should understand that these are a distribution mechanism instead of a source. Earth’s largest water source is the oceans. This includes real life picture cards - cards of each of the following natural sources of water : river, lake, ocean, pond and stream.
